Residents may be aware that a planning application was recently submitted to the City Council for another new takeaway on Pallion Road. This would take the total to 14 fast food outlets within a very short stretch of road. The original application was withdrawn but has now been resubmitted. Residents in the surrounding streets suffer with noise, parking, litter and rats attracted by the amount of waste generated by this huge number of food outlets.
